Ray Yucis

RAY YUCIS, a Life Member who directed our productions of The Fantasticks, Brooklyn Boy, The Women, Company, Moonlight & Magnolias, Around the World in 80 Days, … And the Winner Was, Beat Bugs, Comic Potential (Perry Award nominee, Outstanding Direction/Play), and Time Stands Still (Perry Award winner, Outstanding Direction/ Play), has also appeared on our stage in Pack of Lies and The Actor’s Nightmare. At SummerStage at Leonia he directed 13 musicals including Oklahoma, Carousel, Les Miserables, Annie, Bye Bye Bidie, South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun, and West Side Story. His credits at Players Guild of Leonia include appearing in Tartuffe and directing As Bees in Honey Drown, Black Comedy, Comedy of Errors and The Fantasticks. He also served at Leonia High School as Faculty Adviser/Director for Limelighters drama group and directed 6 shows including Pippin and Godspell. Ray is an avid theater-goer, reader, crossword-puzzler, and ballroom dancer.
